SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation announced on Monday that it recently awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to South Dakota students pursuing post-secondary education.
Every year, the SFACF awards these donor-funded scholarships to students continuing their education by going to colleges, universities, and technical or vocational schools.
“As always, we were so impressed with the caliber of students who applied. We are so proud of the young people in our state, and of the many donors who believe in them,” said Patrick Gale, vice president for community investment for the Community Foundation.
