The Minnesota Sheriffs Association has announced the recipients of its scholarship program for 2024, including Garrick Sharp from the Becker County Sheriffs Office.
Sharp will receive a $2,000 scholarship to put towards his Law Enforcement Degree. He was one of only 18 applicants selected across the state of Minnesota, according to a press release from the Sheriffs Office.
Garrick will graduate this spring and will work towards becoming a Law Enforcement Officer in the future.
The association awards scholarships each year to individuals planning to become Minnesota peace officers. The applicants apply through their local Sheriffs Offices. The Minnesota Sheriffs Association Scholarship Program, which is promoted by the 87 sheriffs of Minnesota, is pleased to announce the following awardees.

• Donald Roberts-Hasca County
• Daniel Schlueter – Le Sueur County
• Garrick Sharp Becker County
• Logan Tomczak-Carlton County
