Six local students could be considered for nearly 7,000 scholarships – The Holland Sentinel

Six students from high schools near Holland have been named semifinalists in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program.  
Officials announced the semifinalists in September, representing less than 1% of high school seniors nationwide. Fewer than 500 students in Michigan were named semifinalists.
