The Sons of Italy scholarship is offered every spring to high school graduates to be used towards college or a trade/vocational school. Students must be graduating this May 2025 and must have Italian heritage.
They are being asked to complete a personal statement, giving a brief history of their Italian heritage, why they are proud to be Italian-Americans, and why they deserve the scholarship.
Students should include their name, address, email, and phone number, as well as their personal statement, one or two referral letters, a resume including work and volunteer experience and high school transcripts, showing the classes they took while in high school and their grades.
Students should email these documents to mlpuj6@gmail.com no later than April 25, 2025. Please include “Sons of Italy Scholarship” in the subject line. If the student attends Salida High School they can also give it to their High School Counselor by April 25, 2025.
The review committee will evaluate all applications after April 25. A scholarship winner will be announced in May, 2025.
