SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Students in the Lake Tahoe Unified School District, George Whittell High School, and Lake Tahoe Community College were honored with a special breakfast last week held by the Soroptimist International of Tahoe Sierra (SITS) club.  The students were awarded scholarships and awards.

The SITS club holds fundraisers each year to support community efforts and these scholarships. Currently, they are holding a raffle for a week on Maui and a week at a timeshare resort anywhere in the world, and a big silent auction May 16 – 30.
