Dunkin’ and its DMV franchisees announced the 2025 recipients of the Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship, awarding $125,000 to 50 high school and college students across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. From over 1,800 applicants, selected students each received a $2,500 scholarship to support part-time or full-time undergraduate studies at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in fall 2025. The Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship, administered by Scholarship America, recognizes academic excellence, leadership, and community involvement.
Launched in 2021, the Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship has awarded $475,000 to 190 students to ease the financial burden of higher education. The program supports students in counties including Washington, D.C., Charles, Frederick, Montgomery, Prince George’s, St. Mary’s, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, and others, as well as Northern Virginia and parts of West Virginia. Eligible applicants included high school seniors and current undergraduate students, with Dunkin’ employees encouraged to apply.

Eleven students from Southern Maryland were honored for the 2025 Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship. Representing Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, St. Mary’s, and Prince George’s counties, these recipients demonstrated outstanding academic records and community service.
Anne Arundel County recipients include Grant Lonergan (Severn School), Stephanie Costello (Broadneck High School), Holden Fontaine (Southern High School), Grace Phenicie (Southern High School), Adah Harding (Arundel High School), and Maisie Wukitch (Chesapeake Senior High School).
Calvert County’s recipient is Denali Mohler (Calvert High School), while Charles County’s is Kelsey Garrity (North Point High School).
St. Mary’s County’s honoree is Marie Cable (Chopticon High School).
Prince George’s County recipients are Alejandra Valdez Gomez (DuVal High School) and Klarke Bradwell (Charles Herbert Flowers High School).
The 2025 Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship recipients were celebrated at two ceremonies. The first, held on July 14, 2025, at M&T Bank Stadium, honored 25 Baltimore-area students, including several from Southern Maryland.
A second ceremony is scheduled for July 23, 2025, at Nationals Park. “The Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship Program is part of our ongoing commitment to support students in our communities, help them pursue their goals, and build a strong foundation for a bright and successful future,” said Jamie Struwe, Dunkin’ Senior Field Marketing Manager. “Our franchisees are passionate about investing in the next generation of leaders in our community,” Struwe added.
Since its inception, the Dunkin’ DMV Regional Scholarship has supported students pursuing diverse academic paths, from computer science to nursing. The program, fully funded by Dunkin’ franchisees, reflects their commitment to local communities. Scholarship America ensures impartial selection based on academic achievement, leadership, and community engagement. The 2025 recipients, including Southern Maryland’s 11 honorees, join a growing group of scholars benefiting from this initiative.
