A Southside High School senior is a finalist for the 2024-2025 Best Buy Scholars Program.
Quinzyreal Wade, a Best Buy Teen Tech member at Wallace Community College in Selma, is a finalist for the 2024-2025 Best Buy Scholars Program that offers up to $10,000 for college expenses for the 2025-2026 academic school year. The scholarship is renewable for three subsequent years for up to $40,000.
Wade stated that receiving this scholarship means a lot to her and it is important because it will take a financial burden off her. It will help her focus on her education more instead of worrying about financial problems. She’s hoping it will help push her toward her goals.
Wade is interested in attending the University of Alabama-Birmingham in the Fall.
