Denver, Colo., March 4, 2025 – The Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center (JCC Denver) is launching Tzedakah 4 Kids (T4K), a three-part event series benefiting the Robert E. Loup Scholarship Fund. The Fund provides tuition assistance to ensure children can access and benefit from programs such as the Early Learning School, Camp Shai, Ranch Camp, Wolf Theatre Academy, Tennis (Serve, Snack and Splash) Camp, and the JCC Maccabi Games. The JCC Denver and the Mizel Arts and Culture Center are committed to reducing financial barriers to entry.
The series kicks off March 9 with the Family Purim Spiel & Carnival, featuring a Wicked-themed play as well as family-friendly games and activities. Leading up to the event, kids of all ages can take part in the Kids’ Mitzvah Challenge, in which they raise funds through performing good deeds and in turn, support scholarships for their peers while earning prizes.
“The Mitzvah Challenge teaches generosity and community responsibility while directly supporting scholarships,” said Courtney Jacobson, general manager of camps and school at the JCC Denver. “We hope kids learn that they can give back and make a difference in lots of different ways – and at any age.”
As resources grow more limited, fundraising efforts like Tzedakah 4 Kids are essential to ensuring more children can access these life-changing programs.
Additional T4K events: Summer Family Concert – July Date To Be Announced
A family-friendly concert by the JCC Denver outdoor pool, with swimming, BBQ, and games. Fall Family Festival – October 12 at Ranch Camp
A fall celebration at JCC Ranch Camp with hayrides, pumpkin bowling, seasonal treats, music, and games.
