Steve Ferguson CRS Scholarship Application Window Open. – Country Insider
GrassRoots Promotion opens applications for the 2026 Steve Ferguson CRS Scholarship, which will be awarded to a deserving country radio programmer, as selected by a board of current radio and industry professionals. The scholarship is named for Ferguson, a longtime PD at Camellia City Communications WTHO Thomson, GA (101.7), who died of cancer in 2019.
Applicants must either have never attended CRS or have not attended in the past five years. The submission deadline is Dec. 5, with the winner to be announced on Dec. 12. The selected recipient will also be recognized during CRS 2026.
