RHINELANDER, Wis. – Seniors at Rhinelander High School received scholarship awards at the annual Rhinelander Community Scholarships Awards on May 19.
The awards ceremony was held at the Rhinelander High School in the John and Dori Brown Performing Arts Center.
223 scholarships totaling $325,135 were awarded to students.
Each scholarship was made possible through around 122 local donors including the Rhinelander Area Scholarship Foundation (RASF), families, class reunions and local businesses.
The scholarships are to help students with postsecondary plans including the trades and college.
The Rhinelander Area Scholarship Foundation was established in 1991.
Since its inception, the RASF has provided over $475,000 to over 493 graduating seniors, many who may not get scholarship support from other sources.
