Students from Renfrew, Barry’s Bay, Golden Lake and Killaloe receive Ted Rogers Scholarships – 96.1 Renfrew Today

Rogers Communications has awarded Ted Rogers Community Grants to organizations across Eastern Ontario that are making a meaningful difference in the lives of hundreds of people.
Organizations receiving Ted Rogers Community Grants this year in Eastern Ontario include:
The Grind in Pembroke will receive $10,000 that will go towards their community kitchen.
President and CEO of Rogers Communications Joe Natale says empowering the next generation of leaders and innovators is critical to ensuring our country’s bright economic future for years to come.
Earlier this summer, Rogers Communications also surprised 263 Ontario youth with a Ted Rogers Scholarship to support their post-secondary studies this fall, and in recognition of their community leadership and volunteerism.
Ted Rogers Scholarships help reduce education barriers, offering $2,500 renewable scholarships for up to four years or $10,000 to recognize young leaders.
Local recipients of the 2021 Ted Rogers Scholarships are from Barry’s Bay, Golden Lake, Killaloe and Renfrew.
