Introduction
The Youth Summit for Mother Earth, hosted annually by Ontario Nature since 2010, brings together young environmental leaders (aged 14ā20) from across Ontario for a weekend of nature-based learning, leadership development, and cultural exchange. In 2025, this enriching experience will take place September 12ā14 at the scenic Tawingo Outdoor Centre in Muskoka.
Eligibility
- Open to Ontario youth aged 14 to 20.
- Ideal for Indigenous and non-Indigenous young leaders passionate about conservation, environmental action, outdoor education, and cultural connections.
How to Apply
- If you require sponsorship:
- Ontario Nature offers sponsored spots via partner groups. Sponsors receive a password and registration form link.
- Get added to the Youth Summit Interest Form to express sponsorship interest or to join subsidized registration alerts.

Without sponsorship:
- Fill out the Interest Form once available in late spring. Ontario Nature will contact you when general or subsidized registration opens.
Scholarships
While full scholarships per se are not offered, sponsorship tiers provide subsidized access:
- Seed Sower ā $275
- Sapling Supporter ā $500
- Forest Builder ā $1,000
Organizations and individuals can support youth attendance and receive recognition benefits .

Registration for sponsored youth will open in late spring. Instructions to access the password-protected form will be emailed directly to sponsors and sponsored youth.
