First it was Devin Hester’s son, Drayton, landing a scholarship offer from Marion Cristobal’s Miami Hurricanes, but now another youngster of a former NFL’er has notched one as well.
Former NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver T.Y. Hilton‘s son, Ty, posted on social media that he received his first scholarship offer from Miami, thanking Cristobal and his staff for the overture. The younger Hilton is a Class of 2030 athlete, according to his Instagram page.
I am extremely blessed to receive my first scholarship to THE University Of Miami
Thank you Coach Cristobal and the rest of the coaching staff

Less than two weeks ago, Miami extended an offer to Hester’s son as Cristobal FaceTimed him and made the proposition to the Class of 2031 athlete. The elder Hilton played collegiately at Florida International, finishing his 2011 senior season with 72 receptions for 1,038 yards and seven touchdowns. Hilton would be drafted No. 93 overall in the NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts and would later play for the Dallas Cowboys as well.
