Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship, applicants must meet specific criteria:

  1. Citizenship: Citizens of eligible countries listed by the TaiwanICDF.
  2. Nationality: Exclusion of Republic of China (Taiwan) nationals and overseas compatriot students.
  3. Admission: Fulfill admission requirements of the partner university.
  4. Visa Requirements: Ability to satisfy Resident Visa and Alien Resident Certificate requirements.
  5. Scholarship Status: Not hold any other ROC (Taiwan) government-sponsored scholarship concurrently.
  6. Graduation: For 2024 applicants, previous scholarship holders must have graduated by July 31, 2023.
  7. Diploma: Provide the highest-level diploma before July 31, 2024, with exceptions for the following year.
  8. History: No previous scholarship revocations or university expulsions.

The application process involves three key steps:

  3. Contact ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Office: Submit necessary documentation to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Consulate General/Representative Office.
