John Buglio, choral director at Tamaqua Area High School, is proud to announce that Cecilia Ulicny, a junior at Tamaqua Area High School, has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Dr. John and Nell Forrest Vocal Scholarship.
The scholarship entitles Cecilia to attend a one-week all-expense-paid trip to Ryder University to attend the Westminster Choir College Summer Vocal Institute. Cecilia will join students from all over the world in an intensive music camp that focuses on choral music and vocal training.
Cecilia is the daughter of Steve and Johanna Ulicny of Tamaqua.
