Taylor Farms has announced the five recipients of the 2025 Educational Scholarship program, given to college-bound students.
This is the 12th year Taylor Farms as provided college scholarships for family members of employees who are enrolled in a four-year university, community college or a vocational school.
Students must have minimum GPA of 3.0 and write an essay about their higher education and career goals. A scholarship review committee reviews the application packets and selected the scholarship winners, awarding two $2,500 scholarships and three $5,000 scholarships this year.

• Christopher Cadiente, grandson of Manuel Miguel who is a crew leader in the production department. Christopher went to Lathrop High School and will be attending Delta College in the fall studying architecture.
• Aby Cruz, son of Martin Cruz in the warehouse department. Aby attended Venture Academy in Stockton and plans to attend Delta College in fall. And pursue a career in electrical technology or business.
• Adrian Garcia-Martinez, son of Edgar who is transportation supervisor. Adrian attended Central Valley High School and is currently enrolled at Modesto Junior College with plans to attend West Coast University in the fall to study nursing.
• Manuel Mendez, son of son of Manuel in the sanitation department. He attended Stockton Early College Academy and will major in biochemistry in the fall at the University of Pacific with the goal of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
• Katty Soto-Salinas, daughter of Guadalupe who works in the production department. Katty attended Manteca High School and will be studying fashion merchandising in the fall at Arizona State University Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
