The Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) has expanded its annual scholarship offerings to include both collegiate and vocational awards.
Collegiate Awards: Those eligible to apply for scholarship grants are graduates of high school who are full time employees of a TCATA member company, their children or grandchildren. Recipients receive $2000 annually for the four years of college attendance. The selection of scholarship recipients will be made on the basis of academic achievements and leadership qualities as demonstrated through extracurricular and other non-academic accomplishments.
Trade/Vocational Awards: Those eligible to apply for scholarship grants are entering, enrolled in, or continuing education at an accredited U.S. trade school or vocational program and who are full time employees of a TCATA member company, their children or grandchildren. Recipients receive $2000 annually for a two year program. The selection of scholarship recipients will be made on the basis of vocational goals and courses of study by supporting paperwork with their application.
TCATA is now accepting applications for the academic year beginning in the Fall.
The deadline is April 30.
Information and applications for both scholarships are available on the TCATA website, www.tcata.org under Membership Information or by emailing Luci Ward, Executive Director at Luci@tcata.org.
