Upon receiving the exciting news, Glass shared, “I am beyond grateful for this life-changing opportunity. Being selected as a QuestBridge Scholar motivates me to pursue my dreams and make the most of this incredible experience at Bowdoin College.”
These outstanding high school seniors have an average unweighted GPA of 3.94, and 92% are in the top 10% of their graduating class. The majority of this year’s Match Scholarship Recipients — 83% — are among the first generation in their families to attend a four-year college in the United States.
Glass’ accomplishments are extraordinary, especially in the context of this year’s competitive application cycle. Out of over 25,500 applicants nationwide, QuestBridge selected 7,288 Finalists for consideration, with 2,627 Finalists earning the prestigious Match Scholarship—a record-breaking number for the program.
Ana Rowena Mallari, Co-Founder and CEO of QuestBridge, expressed her excitement, saying, “We are delighted to welcome this record-breaking number of QuestBridge Scholars. These Scholars will contribute a rich diversity of perspectives and experiences to our college partners, enhancing the vibrancy of their campus communities.”
The Match Scholarship covers the full cost of attendance, including tuition, housing, meals, books, supplies, and travel expenses. Provided by Bowdoin College, this generous financial aid package ensures that Glass can focus on her studies without financial barriers. The scholarship requires no loans or parental contribution, making this achievement all the more impactful for her and her family.
