Technip Energies has announced the recipients of the third edition of its India STEM Scholarship Program for the 2024–25 academic year. As part of the company’s broader social responsibility initiative, Enabling STEM Learning for Girls, the program granted financial support of ₹30,000 each to 100 high-performing young women pursuing engineering studies.
Focused on first-year engineering students from underprivileged backgrounds, the selection process involved a detailed review of academic records, current enrollment, and family income to ensure support reaches those most in need. In addition to this year’s new awardees, the company is continuing to fund 100 students from earlier batches, now advancing into their second and third years of study.
During the awards ceremony, Davendra Kumar, Managing Director of Technip Energies India, stated: “Empowering young women in science and technology is not only essential for their personal growth but also critical for the advancement of society and industry. Removing financial roadblocks gives these future engineers the tools to innovate and lead. Our dedication to inclusion and equal opportunity is at the heart of everything we do.”
Beyond financial aid, the initiative includes mentoring sessions, career guidance webinars, and interactive forums. These are led by women engineers from Technip Energies, who share insights and experiences to inspire and guide scholarship recipients on their academic and professional paths.
The initiative reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to promoting gender balance in science and engineering—an area aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Since its launch, the program has supported over 250 young women pursuing careers in STEM fields.
This scholarship effort is part of Technip Energies India’s flagship community program, Seed of Hope, which has reached and positively influenced over 125,000 individuals, promoting inclusive growth and sustainable development across the country.
