The Monroe County Community College Alumni Association will host its 30th annual Scholarship Golf Outing on Sept. 5.
The event will take place at Carrington Golf Club, 911 St. James Park Ave., Monroe. The association is seeking sponsors and players for the fundraising event, according to a community announcement.
Proceeds from the golf outing support scholarships, including the $2,500 MCCC Alumni Family Member Scholarships and $1,000 MCCC Alumni Scholarships.
Several sponsorship packages are available. The VIP Event Sponsorship is $1,000 and includes sponsor name or logo on a banner, tee and table signage, recognition in promotional materials and a play package for a team of four.
The VIP Cart Sponsor is $750 and includes signs on all golf carts, recognition in promotional materials and a play package for a team of four. VIP Hole Sponsorships are $500 and include signage at the tee, recognition in the event program and a play package for a team of four.
Other sponsorships include Specialty Hole Sponsorships for $300, which feature specialty holes such as Closest to Pin or Longest Drive and recognition in the event program. Hole Sponsorships are $200 and include tee signage and recognition in the event program. Table Sponsorships are $50 and include table signage.
Foursomes for the event are $400 and include greens fees, golf cart, lunch and eligibility for prizes. Of the $400 fee, $100 is a tax-deductible gift to the Foundation at MCCC.
The association is also collecting donations for a raffle prize drawing. Donors will be recognized in the event program.
Since 1996, the Alumni Association Scholarship has been awarded to more than 100 students. The Alumni Family Scholarship, introduced in 2006, has provided scholarships to an additional three dozen students.
