The Bessie Morris Foundation awarded 10 Los Angeles students with 2025 Academic Scholarships, each receiving $500 to support their transition into college this fall. The scholarships recognize not only academic excellence but also personal resilience and community engagement.
Now in its fourth year, the scholarship program was established through a grant from the Southern California Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) and is known as the NOBLE Reddick Scholarship. This year’s awards were made possible with additional support from AFSCME Local 685.
