Territorial Savings, a division of Bank of Hope (the “Bank”), is now accepting applications for its Hope 4 the Future Scholarship, which reflects the Bank’s ongoing commitment to education and growth with community. The scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership and determination, with priority given to those with financial need.
“We are proud to provide opportunities that help Hawai‘i’s students pursue higher education,” said Kevin S. Kim, CEO of Bank of Hope. “We are looking forward to receiving the applications from the vibrant student community of Hawai‘i.”
Eligible applicants must be current high school students or college students with a minimum unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a GED. Applicants must also be residents of Hawai’i and meet income eligibility requirements as outlined in the scholarship guidelines.
Applicants are asked to submit a 500-word essay on one of the following topics:
Essays will be evaluated based on relevance, originality and literary skills. The deadline for entry is Oct. 3, 2025, at 5 p.m. (HST). Scholarship recipients will be notified by Oct. 31, 2025.
