Residents of Bowie County, Texas, are now eligible for the Arkansas Transfer Achievement Scholarship to UA-Fayetteville through the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana.
The program reduces the tuition rate for the university’s graduates who transfer to UA-Fayetteville, as they pay the UAHT in-district tuition rate instead of the UA-Fayetteville rate, renewable up to 10 semesters, according to UAHT. The scholarship applies only to the base tuition and does not include fees or additional costs charged by specific programs at the Fayetteville campus.
The UA System board of trustees approved 2025-26 tuition and fees in May. For undergraduate Arkansans taking the typical 30 credits hours per year, tuition and fees at UA-Fayetteville are $10,497 for the year, while UAHT is less than half of that ($4,120).
