
Six recent Warren County Technical School graduates were honored by the Warren County Board of County Commissioners after receiving scholarships from the NJAC Foundation, the charitable arm of the New Jersey Association of Counties.
The foundation is distributing $110,056 in scholarships this year to vocational-technical school graduates continuing their education at New Jersey county colleges, state colleges or state universities. NJAC Executive Director John Donnadio highlighted that this marks the first year the foundation has exceeded $100,000 in fundraising and scholarship awards.
“We are immensely proud of these students from Warren County, who are among the NJAC Foundation scholarship winners in all 21 counties,” said Commissioner Deputy Director Lori Ciesla, noting their “impressive resumes already.”
Warren County Technical School Superintendent Derrick Forsythe, who attended the presentation during the commissioners’ meeting, praised the recipients: “They exemplify everything we try to instill at Warren Tech: the dedication, the commitment to the training.”
