Three student athletes have been awarded the Peter Nykoluk Rowing Scholarship for 2024-25.
Becca Zubricki is completing her first year of studies at the University of Manitoba, with a focus on interior design. She was selected to represent Canada in 2024 at the CanAmMex regatta in Mexico City. Her next rowing goal is to represent Canada at the U23 World Championships.
Riley Mollons is completing her second year of studies at the University of Manitoba, pursuing a degree in sciences. In addition to competing at the Royal Canadian Henley in 2024, Mollons ran learn-to-row programs and youth camps at the Winnipeg Rowing Club and assisted with the junior rowing program. She is also currently delivering the competitive training program for Manitoba Rowing Association athletes.

Theo Perry is completing his third year of studies at the University of Winnipeg, pursuing a degree in economics. He has rowed for five seasons, representing Manitoba at the 2022 Canada Games. He coached the recreational program and the youth league at the Winnipeg Rowing Club, helped launch diversity camps, and is currently assisting with indoor training for master athletes.
The three athletes have each earned a $3,500 scholarship.
