The 15th Annual Scholarship Gala, supporting student scholarships through the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Foundation, will be headlined by football star, broadcaster, and philanthropist Tim Tebow.
Tebow will be the keynote speaker at the event held at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, with every cent of proceeds going towards funding scholarships for MGCCC students.
The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, two-time BCS National Champion, and first round NFL Draft pick (2010) is no stranger to Mississippi. Beyond gridiron battles in Oxford and Starkville, Tebow has since returned to the Magnolia State for charitable initiatives through the Tim Tebow Foundation, which has served people in more than 90 countries.
“The Scholarship Gala is a key part of our mission to open doors for students and create life-changing opportunities,” Dr. Suzi Brown, MGCCC Vice President of Institutional Advancement. “This year’s 15th anniversary event, with the inspiring Tim Tebow, is a reminder of the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to empowering students through education. We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with our supporters, whose generosity makes it all possible and helps shape a brighter future for the Gulf Coast community.”
The scholarship gala is set for March 15, with a silent auction beginning at 6 p.m. and dinner starting at 7 p.m. For further details, click here.
