Before the Christmas break, Greenville High School Senior Rose Timmermann was called out a class for a big surprise.
She was presented a full-ride scholarship to attend Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Rose was one of 15 applicants to be selected for the scholarship, which has a four-year value of $160,000.
Jeff Leidel asked the GHS student her reaction to the big news. She said she’s thankful for it as it affirms the work she put in during high school. Rose explained her sister, who is ten years older than her, went to Marian University and she feels like she grew up on the campus.
