Student Advisory Council Scholarships and Appointments
Three graduating seniors from the Titusville Student Advisory Council—Callie Cerrato, Julia Moon, and Victoria Hillery—will be awarded scholarships totaling $3,000 for their active participation and community service. Additionally, the Council will confirm Kaden Ramos as the new 11th-grade representative from Academic Community Enrichment, Inc., filling a vacancy left by London Hopping.
Emergency Services Grants and Equipment Upgrades
The Council will vote on accepting two grants aimed at bolstering public safety:
Red, White, & Boom! 2025 Planning
City staff seek approval to begin organizing the July 4th celebration at Chain of Lakes Park, with an estimated budget of $43,775. The event will feature live entertainment, food vendors, and fireworks. A portion of the costs will be offset by local business sponsorships.
Zoning and Land Use Amendments
Two major ordinances will undergo final readings:
City Manager Search Firm Selection
Council members will review proposals from executive search firms to lead the recruitment of a new City Manager, with a recommended contract cap of $34,500 for Colin Baenziger & Associates.
Shade Structure Replacements
A $82,481 contract with Rep Services, Inc. to replace aging fabric on shade structures at Julia and Nevins Courts will be voted on. The project, funded by the Community Redevelopment Agency, aims to enhance downtown aesthetics and safety.
Public Engagement Opportunities
Residents can voice concerns during two public comment periods (Items 7 and 13). Key discussion topics include a proposed community service award, updates on natural resource strategies, and potential changes to water/sewer impact fees.
