The Torrey Pines High School Scholarship Fund held its 2023-2024 Awards Ceremony on May 7 at the TPHS Performing Arts Center. This year, 71 graduates received a total of $52,500 in scholarships. A full audience of family, friends, TPHS teachers and counselors watched them introduce themselves and announce their plans as they accepted their awards.
The nonprofit organization’s mission is to “recognize Torrey Pines High School seniors for their achievements and future promise.” All of the funds raised by community volunteers from donors goes directly to the student to continue their education beyond high school—whether that be a two-year community college, a four-year university or a trade school.
