Eligible Trinidadian citizens are invited to apply for fully funded scholarships to pursue tertiary education at some of China’s top universities. 
In a statement, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Trinidad and Tobago said applications for 2025/26 are now open for online applications. 
“The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Trinidad and Tobago is excited to announce that the application period for the 2025/2026 Chinese Government Scholarship is now open.
“This esteemed scholarship program provides citizens of Trinidad and Tobago with the chance to further their education at some of China’s top universities.
“Prospective applicants are encouraged to complete their online applications and submit all necessary documentation by the deadline of February 10, 2025.
“Essential documents for submission include a completed scholarship application form, proof of eligibility, and the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. To apply, candidates should carefully follow the guidelines outlined in the attachments to navigate the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (CGSIS).”
