Troy University is now offering a new scholarship program for veterans and their families.
The program provides 10 percent tuition scholarships and waiver of application fees for veterans and their families, including spouses and dependents.
“At Troy University, we know that freedom isn’t free,” said Troy Chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr. “Serving the men and women of the U.S. military is a part of our mission at [Troy], and we are pleased to demonstrate our appreciation for their service by offering this new scholarship and application fee waiver to veterans and their families.”
Scot Brumbeloe, Director of Military and Veterans Affairs, said that the program will be beneficial for veterans and their families in meeting educational goals.
“In addition to being a longstanding partner to those serving in our military, we are proud to now offer a tuition scholarship to all veterans and their families to show appreciation for their service to our great nation,” he said.
“This scholarship and application fee waiver will assist in making TROY more accessible than ever and assist military veterans and their families in attaining their higher education goals.”
The applicants form DD214 will verify eligibility while the app fee waiver will be available by using the promotional code TROY4VETS.
