Dutchtown High School’s Madeline Bourgeois and Adyson Hymel were among high school seniors from south Louisiana to receive REV scholarships.
According to a REV news release, the company has eclipsed a $1 million milestone, as the scholarship program has supported 247 seniors since it was established in 1984.
“Parallelling our communities’ rising demand for our services, it was the right time to grow our graduating seniors’ access to this celebrated scholarship program,” Tressy Leindecker, executive vice president of sales and marketing said in the release. “We’re honored to award our 2025 winners but are even more excited about our scholarship fund’s future impact – growing alongside REV’s reach into other parts of the state.”
The program originally began 41 years ago with Latelco’s service area in Lafourche Parish and Grand Isle.
“We’re incredibly proud of the now-41-year impact REV’s scholarship program has delivered,” Peter Louviere, REV’s CFO, said in the release. “As a dedicated investment in our state’s future workforce, this program not only supports talented, academically achieving individuals but also strengthens our great state by retaining bright minds who’ll contribute to Louisiana’s long-term economic and social growth.”
