Macey Cranfill earns the Karna Morton Woman of Grace Scholarship.
Kelsey Pomajzl receives the BIL Memorial Scholarship.
Macey Cranfill earns the Karna Morton Woman of Grace Scholarship.
Kelsey Pomajzl receives the BIL Memorial Scholarship.
Macey Cranfill and Kelsey Pomajzl, seniors at Cody High School, will each receive a scholarship of $2,000 awarded by PEO Chapter AO of Cody.
Cranfill earned the Karna Morton Woman of Grace Scholarship. The daughter of the late Meghan Cranfill and granddaughter of Steven and Dana Cranfill, she plans to continue her studies at Rocky Mountain College in Billings.
Pomajzl received the BIL Memorial Scholarship. She is the daughter of Steve and Rikki Pomajzl and will attend University of Wyoming in Laramie.
Chapter AO, which recently announced the honors, provides scholarships for exceptional women graduating from CHS. Members select recipients based on scholastic ability, participation in school and community activities, and potential to succeed.
Chapter AO has been a part of the Cody community since it was organized in 1972.
PEO International, with chapters throughout the United States and Canada, has been celebrating women by helping them reach for the stars for more than 155 years. Since its inception in 1869, the nonprofit organization has helped more than 122,000 women pursue educational goals by providing more than $415 million in grants, scholarships, awards and loans.
PEO also owns and supports Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri. In addition to the educational philanthropies, the PEO Sisterhood provides a framework of support and community for all members.
