TOWNSEND — Superintendent Brad Morgan and North Middlesex Regional High School Interim Principal Laurie Smith are pleased to share that two high school students were named Commended Scholars by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). 
Seniors Landon Martin and Jack Brady were recognized as part of the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Scholars were among the top 50,000 highest scorers on the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, also known as the Preliminary SAT.
As Commended Scholars, Martin and Brady received Letters of Commendation from the NMSC and the school district. 
“We are so proud that these young gentlemen were recognized for their commitment and dedicated work,” said Principal Smith. “These students have contributed greatly to the school community. I look forward to seeing what they achieve as they complete their senior year and prepare for the next steps.”

We are so proud of them for their achievements and we wish them luck as they continue to build upon their education.”
