PINE RIVER — Pine River-Backus High School students Haydn Gordon and Alaura Dahl were recognized April 17 as Students of the Month by the Brainerd Elks Lodge #615 at a banquet at the Essentia Sports Center in Brainerd.
Along with the recognition, Gordon received a $250 scholarship and Dahl received $1,000.
