MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The ULM Foundation has announced a scholarship dedicated to a former chemistry professor.
The “Dr. Frank Bruscato Endowed Scholarship,” a $25,000 scholarship given by Dr. Vince and Lana Forte will be divided among recipients.
Dr. Forte says his former teacher and mentor deserves all the credit.
“Doctor Bruscato had touched so many people’s lives and he was always giving and always there when we needed him. And as you can tell by the enormous crowd that we had today, how many lives he’s touched through his countless efforts at ULM and through the programs and just his love for the community,” says Dr. Forte.
Dr. Bruscato says it means a lot to have a scholarship in his name and he is happy to see all his colleagues be there to support him.
