The Hazleton Chapter of UNICO granted annual scholarships to four successful applicants.

Each successful applicant was awarded $1,500 to be used for their tuition or other associated school costs.
One technical school scholarship was awarded to James Festa, and three academic scholarships were awarded to Julia Ustynoski, Emily Reinmiller and Kaitlyn Puzzetti.
James Festa, a Hazleton Area Career Center graduate, is the son of Marty and Kerry Festa, Sugarloaf, and plans to attend the Southeast Lineman Training Center in Georgia.
Julia Ustynoski, a Marion High School graduate, is the daughter of Christian and Michelle Ustynoski, Sugarloaf, and will be attending Penn State University, pursuing a business degree.
Emily Reinmiller, a Hazleton Area Academy of Sciences graduate, is the daughter of Donald and Angela Reinmiller, Drums, and plans to attend Cornell University for Cognitive Science.
