Eligibility criteria:
In order to be eligible for a Faculty of Science Undergraduate International Scholarship, applicants must:
– Be a new, fee-paying international student with an offer of admission for first or second-year entry to a full-time undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science for the 2025/2026 academic year.
– Have gained excellent academic achievement.
– Be self-funded. Students who have been awarded full scholarships by government agencies or embassies will not be considered.
Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis, and applicants are encouraged to apply early because funding is distributed before the deadline.
In the meantime, the Strathclyde Business School is also providing an additional tranche of scholarships to full-time overseas students who are enrolling on its programmes in September 2025. The awards, ranging between £6,000 and £8,000, are provided for certain courses such as Accounting & Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Business, Hospitality & Tourism, Management, and Management Science.
Applicants should be self-funded and also possess an offer on a programme for September 2025. Scholarship funding will be awarded on a rolling basis from mid-January 2025, with the initial tranche deadline being 30 April. All applicants will normally be informed of the Scholarship Committee’s decision within a week of receiving their programme offer.
