COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Archery is partnering with Positive Athlete, an organization which recognizes high school age student-athletes who exemplify character, leadership, resilience and other positive attributes.
Positive Athlete has operated in Pennsylvania and Georgia over the past 12 years but in January they expanded nationally. To date, and in just two states, Positive Athlete has awarded over $550,000 in scholarships, received over 50,000 nominations since the program’s inception, and recognized over 3,000 athletes and coaches with awards.
In 2025, the organization will look to award an additional $100,000 in scholarships to outstanding student athletes.
All nominations are made online and include athletes in Grades 9-12. Any adult 18+ (coaches, parents, club leaders, administrators, fans, etc.) may nominate a USA Archery athlete. Parents can even nominate their own children.
Nominations must be submitted by May 9.

Positive Athlete is a recognition program that celebrates high character, high school student-athletes and coaches who have overcome difficult circumstances, given back to their schools and communities in a significant way, or just have an infectious positive attitude that makes everyone around them a better person.
This partnership will allow USA Archery to continue to recognize and celebrate the impact young athletes make nationally, locally, and in their communities.
