On February 20, 2025, Tom Harris, one of the co-owners of Vagabond Kitchen & Tap House in Egg Harbor Township, recollects the pandemic shut down and how it affected the new business location at the time, as well as their Atlantic City location.
The philanthropic arm of Vagabond Kitchen & Tap House is looking to give away $6,000 in scholarships this fall.
Vagabond Charities Inc. says it will give six $1,000 scholarships to residents of Atlantic and Cape May counties who are enrolled in undergraduate studies or trade school this fall. Graduates from Atlantic City and Egg Harbor Township high schools, where the two Vagabond restaurants are located, will be given preference.

Applications may be downloaded from Vagabond Charities’ Facebook page. Mail your completed application package to Vagabike Scholarship Committee, 672 N. Trenton Ave., Atlantic City, NJ 08401, or email to vagabondcharities@hotmail.com.
Scholarship recipients will receive a formal invitation by Sept. 21. Winners should make every effort to attend the Vagabike ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 4.
