The scholarship will cover tuition for up to five semesters for each Valle Crucis Middle School student upon their graduation from high school. These students were displaced by damage done by Hurricane Helene to the existing Valle Crucis School. The new school is expected to open for students this fall.

BOONE — Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute will provide scholarships for each of the middle school students currently finishing out their school year on the college’s Watauga Campus in Boone.
The scholarships, awarded through the Foundation of CCC&TI, will help cover up to five semesters of tuition at CCC&TI.
