NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Vanderbilt University is offering new opportunities to students in Metro Nashville Public Schools.
On Thursday, the university announced the Nashville Vanderbilt Scholars Program, a partnership between the college and MNPS. The program offers scholarships for students whose families make less than $100,000 per year.
The scholarships will cover the full cost of attending Vanderbilt, including tuition, fees, housing and meals, according to the university.
The university will also provide $6,000 to students for summer internships. The program will launch for students applying to enter college for fall 2025.
