WATERLOO −Veridian Credit Union has opened scholarship applications to award a total of $20,000 to eight students for the 2025-2026 academic year, an increase from the $18,000 awarded last year. Four high school seniors and four post-high school applicants will each receive $2,500 toward tuition for post-secondary education at an accredited vocational, undergraduate or graduate program.
Applications are due with a 500-word essay on Feb. 7, 2025. Applicants must be the primary owner on a Veridian account. Details are available at veridiancu.org/scholarship. The Veridian Scholarship will be administered by the Iowa Credit Union Foundation.
