Valley Health (VH) reports awarding 10 local students with a $25,000 nursing scholarship in their Nurses of Tomorrow program.
This new scholarship program promotes VH’s commitment in supporting the next generation of nurses.
The program offers both financial assistance as well as mentorship, clinical training, and career development.
The scholarships provide up to $20,000 over the course of a baccalaureate nursing degree and an additional $5,000 for the final year of education.
The 10 recipients receiving the first scholarships were applicants from Shenandoah, Shepherd, and James Madison Universities.
Those 10 recipients showed a commitment to caring for others and embodied the values that are defined by Valley Health.
