VALDOSTA — The Rev. Dr. B.T. Rose, Jr. and Mrs. Gloria D. Rose, parents of Kenneth Jerome Rose, recently presented the Kenneth J. Rose Memorial Scholarship Award at Valdosta High School. The recipients were Jason E. Abbott and Denver Janiah Arnold. Each student was given $2,500.
Abbott is furthering his education at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College in Valdosta and plans to continue at Valdosta State University.
He is the son of Lasonia Abbott.
Arnold will continue her education at Coastal Alabama Community College in Bay Minette, Ala.
She is the daughter of Randy and Diondra Arnold.
