Volunteer Bank recently donated $5,000 to the Paul Jackson Warren Memorial Scholarship at Volunteer State Community College.
The scholarship honors Paul Warren, who passed away in December 2011 and served as the Assistant Vice President at the Bank. Since its founding, over $104,000 has been awarded to students in need.
“The Volunteer State College Foundation is deeply grateful to Volunteer Bank for their continued support of the Paul Jackson Warren Memorial Scholarship! Their support allows us to fulfill our mission of making a difference in the lives of students through providing much needed scholarships,” said Karen Mitchell, Vice President for Advancement & Executive Director of the Foundation.
Tony Gregory, Chairman, President & CEO of Volunteer Bank, serves on the Vol State College Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Volunteer Bank has long been an enthusiastic supporter of Volunteer State Community College, serving as title sponsor of the Athletic Association’s Corporate Cup annual golf tournament since its inception in 2006.
