Wagnalls Foundation gives out 8 scholarships totaling $14,500 – Lancaster Eagle Gazette

The Wagnalls Memorial Foundation has awarded eight scholarships for a total of $14,500 to Bloom Carroll (BCHS) and Canal Winchester (CWHS graduates from the class of 2024. The Wagnalls Memorial Foundation has awarded and administered scholarships for high school students who reside in Bloom Township since the late 1940s. The Foundation also assists the Walker-Hecox-Hickle American Legion Post 677 of Lithopolis to award scholarships as well. The Legion awarded three scholarships for 2024.
The recipients of the Wagnalls scholarships include Samuel Howard (CWHS), Colby Sprague (BCHS), Madeline Jackson (BCHS), Kate Johnson (BCHS), Kaydence Neal (BCHS), Noah Winterton (BCHS), Lacie Bachman (BCHS), and Tori Harrison-Rawn (CWHS).
Recipients of the American Legion Post 677 are Aaron Rodoski (Walker scholarship for CWHS graduates), Andrew Carter (Hecox scholarship for BCHS), and Maxwell LeFever of Ashland, KY (Hickle scholarship for relations of members).

The Greenfield Township Board of Trustees is accepting applications for the position of part-time Zoning Inspector. Pay is based on experience. Builder’s Camp will be held at Fairfield County Community Workforce Center June 24-28 and July 22-26 at 4465 Coonpath Road NW in Carroll. Classes will be held Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to noon. Attendees will learn about construction trades and how they use science, technology, engineering and math. The camp is designed for students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in Fairfield County.
