SAN ANGELO, TX – Wall High School student, athlete, and cheerleader Sealie Hughes was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by San Angelo Nursing and Rehab as part of its November program.
The check was presented to Hughes during a recent event at the facility.

Hughes, who has volunteered at San Angelo Nursing and Rehab in previous years, showcased her dedication to the medical field and her passion for helping others. The scholarship will assist Hughes with expenses related to her college journey, where she plans to pursue a career in physical therapy, specializing in sports medicine and personal training.
The scholarship is part of a monthly initiative by San Angelo Nursing and Rehab. The initiative aims to support local high school seniors committed to medical careers. Each month, a different school in the area is selected to submit essays for the competition.
