ENTERPRISE – (Release from Wallowa County Healthcare District) The Wallowa County Health Care District (WCHCD) is pleased to announce the second year of its scholarship program, continuing its commitment to supporting local students pursuing higher education, particularly those interested in healthcare careers.
Building on the success of its inaugural year, the program will once again offer three $1,000 scholarships:

“Wallowa Memorial Hospital and Medical Clinics are proud to continue this investment in our community’s future,” says Anna Hayter, Chief Human Resources Officer at WCHCD. “This scholarship program, now in its second year, reinforces our commitment to the well-being of Wallowa County and its residents. We recognize that our youth are our most valuable resource, and we are dedicated to supporting the next generation of rural leaders and healthcare professionals.”

Scholarship applicants must be residents of Wallowa County and meet specific criteria outlined in the application. The application process includes:

Applications are due by April 7, 2025. Selection will be made by April 22, 2025. WCHCD encourages all Wallowa County schools, residents, and organizations to share information about this scholarship opportunity with graduating seniors and non-traditional students.
