LINCOLN, Neb. – Elliott Small of Watertown was selected to receive a $5,000 scholarship award from the Youth for the Quality Care of Animals organization. Small is one of seven students to be recognized and receive a scholarship from YQCA’s inaugural scholarship program to go toward furthering their education. Small will be attending Iowa State University this fall.
“Investing in youth is key to the future of the livestock industry,” said Youth for the Quality Care of Animals Executive Board President Dinah Peebles. “The YQCA scholarship reflects our commitment to supporting young people in their educational endeavors. We are proud to invest in these seven students and have them represent our organization.”
